Nature: Healing for the Soul

The Art of David P. Curtis

April 20 - August 10, 2024

David P. Curtis was a plein-air painter and educator who taught outdoor oil painting classes throughout New England and West Virginia for almost 30 years.

He was generous with his time, knowledge, and expertise. Painting was his driving passion, and he loved to share his enthusiasm with students, peers, and art lovers alike.
It’s time to spring into summer with these plein-air paintings by David P. Curtis. As we celebrate the seasons, we can appreciate the artist’s vision when inspired by Nature.

'Art is a Safe Haven'

Art is a creative outlet while we have time on our hands. It engages our imagination, our energy, and our mental welfare. Everyone can create art, and all those who have reached some success had to begin somewhere. Art is a safe haven for individuals during these chaotic times, helping them engage their Hearts, Hands, Minds, and Souls! Why not try creating a piece of Art of your own?
